These specimens come from an isolated (one time) 2010 find, discovered at the Lupoto Mine in DR Congo. These pieces began as bladed Azurite crystals, then pseudomorphed into Malachite, then pseudomorphed AGAIN into crystals of Chrysocolla! Most of these specimens, from this locale, were quickly sold upon release and disappeared off the market. We have ONLY 10 of these rare specimens up for grabs at the moment. Each video is numbered.
If you're not familiar with pseudomorphs, they are minerals that have replaced other minerals while still retaining the original minerals shape! So the top layer of these specimens are covered with amazing chrysocolla crystals but still have the Azurite crystal base shape & some of them even show bits of Malachite between the layers.Â
Pseudomorphs symbolize transformation, personal growth, and adaptability.Â
